Getting Started
1. How do I get started?
  You decide exactly what goes in your order! Let us know your medical condition(s) and concerns about your diet, we work on the meals for you. All our meals are prepared with care with fresh ingredients that focus on good source of dietary fibre, lean protein, minimal saturated fats and dietary cholesterol; and no MSG. You can let us know your dietary preference such as non-spicy only, no chicken, etc.
2. How much is the cost of Nutra by Pantai meals?
  Nutra by Pantai meals are priced starting at RM18.00 per set, inclusive of fresh fruits, in line with our philosophy of healthy balanced meals. However, more savings available if you subscribe to our package(s).
3. Is a minimum order required?
  No.
4. Can I make a one-time purchase?
  Yes, one day meal is available. However, package subscription is encouraged to try out our wide variety of menus designed by Dietitian.
5. What are the benefits of Nutra by Pantai subscription?
  Nutra by Pantai offers 5-, 10-, 20-days subscription package at the moments. With a subscription, you’ll get the convenience of meal deliveries based on your preference and health condition(s). 5-, 10-, 20-days meal subscription packages are inclusive of delivery fees.
 
Meals and Nutrition
1. Who creates Nutra by Pantai meals?
  All Nutra by Pantai meals are created by our team of Dietitians and therapeutic diet-trained Chefs to ensure the meals meet the nutritional needs of our customers. Every Nutra by Pantai meal is thoughtfully developed based on recommendations from Malaysian Food Guide Pyramid, Malaysian Healthy Plate Malaysian Dietary Guidelines and Medical Nutrition Therapy Guidelines (MNT).
2. What are Nutra by Pantai meals ingredients?
  Nutra by Pantai meals are made using fresh ingredients focusing on whole grains, lean protein, low in saturated fats and dietary cholesterol.
3. Where do the ingredients sourced come from?
  We source our ingredients from trusted suppliers that we thoroughly evaluate and monitor to ensure they meet our food quality and safety standards.
4. How is the servings size of a meal?
  Our meals contain a single serving meant to feed one person. Packaged snacks under Healthy Snacks category are meant to be served according to the recommended serving size of each products.
5. How long can Nutra by Pantai meals maintain its freshness once they are delivered?
  All meals are prepared fresh on the day. Therefore, it is advised to be consumed within 2 hours upon receiving to ensure its freshness and for food safety precaution. For packaged snacks/beverages under Snack & Beverage category, the shelf life is based on the Expiry/ Used By date stated.
6. How often do you change the menu?
  We continually evolve our menu and meals based on our customers’ feedback regularly, and we introduce new meals to replace existing meals.
 
Allergens
1. Can I personalize my meal selection to exclude specific allergens?
  Yes! Let us know your food allergy history and details so that we can customise your meals accordingly. Our Dietitians will get in touch with you to understand your needs further, if necessary.
 
Food Safety & Standards
1. What are Nutra by Pantai’s food safety standards and practices?
  Food safety is our top priority, and the production facility and process flow is designed to ensure that we are meeting the highest food safety standards. We adhere to GMP (Good Manufacturing Practice) compliant culinary processes. We have an extensive team which consists of the hospital management, food service, procurement, facility, infection control as well as quality assurance personnel to safeguard our food safety.
2. Is Nutra by Pantai’s meals Halal?
  Yes, all our ingredients used, and meals produced are Halal certified by Jabatan Kemajuan Islam Malaysia (JAKIM).
 
Managing Your Subscription
1. Can I change my meal after placing an order?
  All our meals are prepared to order. All order cannot be cancelled, and non-refundable once payment is made.
2. What is the cut off time to place an order?
  For 1 day meal order, the cut off time for lunch is at 9am on the day and dinner is at 2pm on the day of order.
For 5-, 10- and 20-days subscription package, all meal orders are on pre-order basis with the cut off time of 5pm. Order beyond 5pm will be taken as the order of the following day. (e.g. order on Monday 5:15pm, meal delivery will start from Wednesday)
 
Delivery
1. Where do you deliver?
  We deliver to selected areas within Penang island. Check out the delivery coverage area from the Postcode drop-down list.
2. How will my order be delivered?
  Our meals will be delivered by the appointed food delivery rider.
3. When will my order arrive?
  Delivery time for lunch 12:00PM to 01:00PM, dinner 5:00PM to 6:00PM; However, when there is extremely heavy rainfall, delivery time might be extended slightly for the delivery rider’s safety.
4. What is the delivery fee?
  5-, 10- and 20-day meal subscription packages are inclusive of delivery fees. For items under ala carte menu, snack and beverage, bakery and pastry category, delivery fees will be charged according to the delivery zone – RM8.00 per delivery for Bayan Lepas Zone, RM11.00 per delivery for Georgetown, Ayer Itam and Tanjung Bungah zone. However, delivery fees will be waived if you reach certain amount of order.
